93rd Annual Convention

ASALH will host its 93rd Annual Convention in Birmingham, Alabama from October 1-5
at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.  The mission of ASALH and the Annual Conference
is to promote, research, preserve, interpret, and disseminate information about
Black life, history, and culture to the global community.  This year's convention
promises to be one of our best events ever.  We hope that you will be able to join

Important Conference Updates!
This is an update to the Conference Flyer that was mailed to all ASALH Members last
week.  The JAAH Reception IS included in the Full Convention Package.  Also, the
 Black Heritage Tour of Birmingham will end at 12 noon, in time for riders to attend
the Thursday Luncheon.  And the final update: The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute
Tour and Reception will run from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.
