Membership Information

All memberships includes an OASCI.org e-mail account (click HERE to register), quarterly issues to ASALH publication: “The Journal of African American History” (formerly the Journal of Negro History).and the “Black History Bulletin”. Also voting privileges and discounts at the national conferences.

Members are required to pay dues to include local and national as listed below.

We invite members to participate with Our Authors Study Club, Inc. in community service and volunteering for local events and national conferences.

To support our annual Opening Ceremony which is held in February with the City of Los Angeles and each Mayor. To support the”Carter G. Woodson Schalorship Luncheon held each February during African American History Month.
